Handwriting Without Tears® works! If you are new to the curriculum or to school-based therapy, ask your collegues about the program. Chances are they are using it and will have success stories and tips to share.

Getting Started With HWT

• Learn the curriculum. Attend the Handwriting Without Tears workshops to get first-hand instruction from a certified presenter including tips and strategies for troubleshooting. Visit our workshop section to see the schedule of over 300 workshops planned each year.
• Know the material! Read each Handwriting Without Tears teacher’s guide that applies to the grade level of the students you see.
• Observe other colleagues who work with children using the Handwriting Without Tears program. This will give you new ideas and techniques for using the program with your children.
