What is the Frog Jump?

If you are familiar with Handwriting Without Tears®, you know about the Frog Jump! When we teach children to write their letters, we begin with the Frog Jump Capitals – F, E, D, P, B, R, N, and M.

Frog Jump Capitals begin in the “starting corner” at the dot.
Make a “big line” straight down.
Frog Jump back up to the “starting corner.”
Now you are ready to finish the letter.
